DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT:

Driving Directions:

• Follow the signs out of the airport to get on 70 East
• Merge onto 170 South
• Merge onto 40 East
• Exit at Jefferson, turn left on Jefferson
• Turn right on Market
• Hampton Inn will be a few blocks down on the left, and there is a parking lot next to the building
• Hyatt is a block further on the right. It is in the old train station building (can't miss it). You can either pull up to the front (on Market Street) and valet park, or turn right on the street just past the train station building and there is public parking in the back.

MetroLink Directions:

St. Louis's subway system (MetroLink) only has one line, so it is pretty easy.

• Follow the signs at the airport to walk to the station
• Get off at the Union Station stop
• When you get up to ground level, you will see Union Station.
• You will basically be at the back of it, and will need to walk through the big parking lot and then through the shops/restaurants inside the station.
• Or, you can stay outside on the street that runs along the station, and just walk towards the front, making a left when you hit Market Street.

To the Hyatt (approximately a 3-5 minute walk from the MetroLink Union Station stop):

• The Hyatt is at the front of Union Station (approximately a 3-5 minute walk from the MetroLink Union Station stop)

To the Hampton Inn (approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the MetroLink Union Station stop):

• You will pass the Hyatt on your left.
• With your back to the Hyatt, look left and you will see the Hampton Inn so cross Market Street at the next intersection
• Turn left and walk about 3-4 blocks

We have reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels in downtown St. Louis. The hotels are near Union Station, a historic train station that is now a complex of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The hotels are literally one block apart! There will be a hospitality suite at the Hampton Inn (for meeting, hanging out, etc.), which is also the location of the casual brunch we will be having for everyone on Sunday. Please book your rooms by April 4th, 2001. The block of rooms will be held until that date, but there is a convention in town, and many of the downtown hotels are fully booked. So, book early.
